Stock Analysis: Microsoft

Verdict: Microsoft is STRONG

Overall, Microsoft, MSFT, is riding out the recession much better than many of the other companies in the Software and Programming industry. Microsoft is beating the industry sales and income averages by 77 and 83 percent, respectively. Microsoft is also exceeding the industry averages in profit margins and sales growth. In addition to its good financial numbers, Microsoft is suspected to unveil a new search engine, code name "Kumo", later this week. Considering this information, Microsoft is a sold company with excellent prospects for the future.
